How PDF workflows work

Choose a PDF tool, upload the required file, wait for processing, then download the result from the job screen or dashboard. Logged-in users can see job history and re-download temporary results while they are still available.

Free and Pro limits

Free users can upload PDF files up to 50 MB. Pro users can upload up to 100 MB, get higher processing priority, and can use paid-only advanced tools where enabled.

Common PDF problems

If a protected PDF fails, confirm the password is correct. If a conversion looks different from the original, it may be caused by embedded fonts, scanned pages, or complex layouts.

Image Tools

Compress, resize, crop, rotate, convert, watermark, remove metadata, blur, and other image workflows.

Supported image workflows

Image tools handle common image tasks such as compression, resizing, rotation, conversion to JPG, conversion from JPG, watermarking, metadata removal, and blur workflows.

Batch image limits

Free users can process up to 10 images in a batch. Pro users can process up to 100 images in supported batch workflows. Upload size follows the same free and Pro file limits.

Best image quality

Use the original file when possible. Repeated compression can reduce quality, so keep a clean master copy before running multiple image edits.

E-Sign

Sign yourself, request signatures, place fields, send OTP-secured signing links, and generate audit certificates.

Sign Yourself

Upload a PDF, continue to the editor, add fields such as signature, date, text, checkbox, radio button, image, or hyperlink, place them on the document, then complete the signing flow.

Get Signatures

Upload a document, add recipient name and email, place required fields for the signer, review the request, add optional CC, reminder, expiry, and message details, then send the signing request.

Signer verification

Recipients receive a secure signing link and email OTP. After signing, NetBuddy can send final emails to sender and receiver with signed documents and audit details.

E-Sign availability

E-Sign is a Pro feature with a monthly signing limit. Free users are directed to the pricing page before using paid signing workflows.

AI Documents

Create, rewrite, grammar check, summarize, and export text documents using NetBuddy's AI document assistant.

AI credit system

Pro users receive 100 AI credits per month. Grammar check and rewrite/edit use 1 credit. Create document and summarize use 2 credits. Long rewrites use 3 to 5 credits depending on length.

Input and output limits

AI document tools are text/document only. Max input is 8,000 words. Normal output is up to 1,500 words. Long rewrite or create output can be up to 3,000 words.

Legal draft assistant

The legal draft assistant can help create first drafts such as NDA, service agreement, freelance agreement, simple rental draft, demand letter, and authorization letter. Generated text should be reviewed by a qualified professional before use.

Troubleshooting

Common fixes

Most issues come from expired files, unverified email, protected PDFs, or a deployment that is still starting up.

If verification email does not arrive, check spam or junk and mark no_reply@netbuddy.ai as not spam.

If a page shows 502 after deployment, wait a moment for containers to become healthy, then recheck the frontend and API health.

If a PDF preview fails, try another PDF or refresh the workflow. Some scanned or damaged PDFs can be harder to render.

If a download has expired, rerun the job. Temporary free results are not kept forever.

If Pro features are blocked, confirm your plan is active and your email is verified.
